Do not be disenfranchised, Mahama warns.

Former President John Dramani Mahama and Flag bearer for the largest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress(NDC) on the morning of Monday September 16, 2019 took to his Facebook wall to admonish Ghanaians, particularly residents in the Bole District to ensure they perform their civic responsibilities by participating in the ongoing voter register exhibition exercise.

He advised citizens to ensure they check with the register to confirm that their names were in it to ensure they were not disenfranchised.

Below is the Former President’s post:

“I will be at the Bole District Assembly Polling Centre this morning to perform my civic duty of checking my name in the ongoing exhibition of the voters register.

If you’ve not checked your name yet, please make the time and head to your polling centre and check your name. Do not be disenfranchised.

Check and confirm that your name is in the register.”
