Actor, Rahim Banda has denied claims that he’s a card-bearing member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) saying he has no knowledge of why and how he was appointed free Senior High School (SHS) Ambassador.
Rahim Banda after he was spotted at the National Delegates Conference in December was marked as a card-bearing member of the NPP by some social media users.
According to them, his membership earned him the Free SHS Ambassadorial deal
But reacting to this in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the University of Ghana student mentioned that he’s not a member of the New Patriotic Party.
He revealed that he has not decided which political party he will join in Ghana indicating reports that he is a member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
On what criteria was used to appoint him as the FREE SHS Ambassador, Rahim Banda could not tell and directed that his management is consulted because he just received a call telling him he was appointed an ambassador for government’s flagship programme.
“I was in school when I received a call that I’ve been appointed free SHS Ambassador but you should ask management how they were able to secure that appointment for me.”
