NPP polls: Nana Frendua files to contest Okaikoi South seat

Nana Frendua Agyeman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has filed his nomination forms to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the party in the Okaikoi South constituency.

He filed the forms at the constituency office on Tuesday, 18 February 2020.

Mr Agyeman told journalists that he is seeking to become the lawmaker for the area to deepen the development that the people are already witnessing under the Akufo-Addo administration.

He also assured the constituents that if he wins the primaries and eventually wins the parliamentary election to become the Member of Parliament for the area, he will leverage the contacts he has built over the years, to create opportunities for the youth.

“Specifically, I am very interested in youth development and the welfare and wellbeing of all individuals here.

“I will ensure that the youth get the opportunities they need to develop their life,” he told journalists.

The governing NPP will be electing its parliamentary candidates in April this year as part of preparations toward the general elections on 7 December 2020.
