Mahama Lied About Construction Of Cocoa Roads – Abrony …

The Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe Abronye has lambasted the former President of Ghana, John Mahama for peddling falsehood during his tour of the region.

He stated that the former president made no effort in constructing any Cocoa roads as he sort to put out to the public which he says Mr Mahama never constructed any roads in those areas.

The NPP top scribe in the Bono Region was speaking at a press conference the party organized to clear and refute claims of the NDC flagbearer on theme: Exposing the Falsehoods Being Peddled by John Mahama on His Country Tour.

Addressing the party faithful’s and the press, Kwame Baffoe stressed that, the former President and his past government failed to construct all the various Cocoa roads across the country but sort to paint the false picture.

He added that they only added the roads in their green book just to deceive the good people of Ghana in the cocoa-growing areas.

Abronye added that instead of Mr Mahama admitting to his failure to fulfill the promises he made to cocoa farmers and cocoa farming communities during his presidency; the mismanagement and misapplication of funds which he oversaw and his government’s lack of innovative capacity to resolve the issues of the cocoa sector, the former president is rather engaging in a “Trumpian” style spreading of misinformation.

Mr Kwame Baffoe also noted that the Nana Addo led administration is the one that has been able to fulfill their promises made to all the Cocoa growing communities and it is not something they will put in any form of books but it is physical.
